Kitsune is a velcro dog who wants to be where you are. That does not stop her from being a Shiba who will do her job in finding every flaw in any fence and will help make holes around fences (we like to think she's trying to help dig new fence holes, but we know that's not likely). Shibas are escape artists, so she must go to a home with a secure, escape-proofed privacy fence (she will get out of a chain link in no time). Kitsune loves to go on adventures so it's important she have pet parents who keep her mentally stimulated and active. Shibas are very loyal and their need for walkabouts has nothing to do with how much they love you, but how much they love to wander. Kitsune (Kitsi) has been so great with the little dogs and cats in her foster home. She is good about asking for pets, and would do great with a furever home who understands Shibas and loves a cat in dog form.

Kitsune is a Shiba Inu who was born approximately 11-26-20 and weighs 18 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
