LADY

Hi! My Name Is LADY

We're happy to tell you that LADY has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
I’m Lady, but I should be named Ariel because I want to be where the people are. I’m a blonde beauty with gorgeous sky blue eyes. My energy matches yours. When you’re running, I’m an Olympian. When you’re loafing, I’m bread—I have the cutest snore. I’m a mostly happy dog. I do not like voices that yell on tv, and I am sad when you’re not in my line of sight. I don’t like to go outside without you. I’m learning that my kennel can be a safe place, but I’d really rather be with you. I’m currently very clingy, but I think that’s cuz a hooman did me wrong. I will relax onceI feel safe. I will kiss you too much (is there a too much???) if you let me. I will literally bathe you with kisses because I love you. If you’re not fond of doggy kisses, I am not the one for you. You’re my pack leader and I want to show you my devotion. My foster brother and sister are very small and really cute. And I like them even tho they do not want to play and are big grouches whenever I try to sneak a snuggle. But The Neighbor’s big “pibble” dogs are fun to play with. I do not have a mean or aggressive bone in my body, unless it comes to aggressively loving you with every fiber of my being. I love love love human children, but bigger ones because I do love to jump up to try to steal a smooch on you. You're going to need to work with me to get me to stop jumping, but I will learn. I just want to make you happy. I’m house-trained, would prefer a harness for walks, am not a huge fan of kennels. I need a fenced yard to keep me safe (a 6 ft privacy fence would be best). I don’t like getting in the car, but I LOVE car rides - I’ve actually jumped into my foster mom’s car a couple times all on my own now that I know she’s trustworthy. My foster mom found out that I like female singers, especially R&B and 80s pop. Can I be the newest member of your pack? Lady is a female Husky mix, weighs 41 lbs and was born approximately 6-4-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. If interested in adopting one of our available dogs or puppies, please complete an online adoption application at https://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ You will be contacted by our adoption coordinator via email after your application has been reviewed & approved to schedule an appointment.
