LOKI

Hi, my name is Loki and I am looking for a loving furever home! I am a Dark Grey and White Male Schnauzer/Scottish Terrier mix, although everyone says I definitely look more Schnauzer. I weigh approximately 19 pounds right now. I am a happy and playful boy and full of energy. I follow my foster Mom around everywhere she goes. I love to follow-up a good playtime with a nap and snuggles with my foster Mom. I am a little shy at first when I meet new people and sometimes bark at people who come over until I know I can trust them. I have not been tested around kids, but I live with three other dogs and four cats and get along with all of them. I really like running around and playing in the back yard with one of my fur siblings. I don't care about chasing cats, but am curious about them and think I would like playing with them too. I'm good either way (you know how cats can be). I am working really hard on potty training but I am not perfect yet. I know with time and patience I will get it right, because I really want to please. I really do not like to be crated. My former Mom kept me crated all the time, so I don't like it. I might be OK if I can get used to knowing it wouldn't be for a long time. I know how to sit, and will sit for treats. I really need a home with a canine companion to keep me company. I'd also love a home with a retired person or work from home person so that I have as much human companionship as I can get! I didn't get much of that where I came from. Loki is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fees help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
