LOLA

I am Lola and I am working on making friends! I am eating a lot of good things so I gain some weight. I was pretty skinny when I arrived at Dolly's, just 31 lbs. I know how to sit, but the tempting food gets me all excited so my "stay and wait" is not very good. I do like to rub up against you, be with you, lay down with you, cuddle with you....all of those things as much as I possibly can. And I am not afraid of people, so anybody can do that for me. I would like children, I go to them first before any adult. I'm slowly making friends with my foster fursiblings. It has taken a little bit because I want to be very alpha dog. It has taken me a bit to settle into my foster home but I'm very happy now. I was taught not to get on the furniture. I like to go on the walks but I walk very slowly and don't like to pull. I do like to smell everything, there are so many new scents to discover! But when we go on walks with my foster brother and sister I try to lead as much as possible. I was rescued from a shelter that I wasn't kept in very good condition or being fed very well. Now I'm loving having a clean bed, lots of yummy food, and having all the perks of being a Dolly's girl! Hopefully I can graduate from my foster and be chosen for adoption real soon. Please apply for me!

Lola is a female American Pitbull Terrier who was born approximately 10-1-20 and weighed 31 lbs when she arrived 9-30-23 but is working on putting on some much-needed weight. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $250 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
