Don’t let Loo Loo’s shy demeanor fool you, once she warms up, she’s incredibly playful and loving. With dogs, like people, she is very shy and submissive at first. While her sisters have been incredibly smart and quick learning, she’s expected to be the same when she grows comfortable in her new home. She’s still learning what’s a chew toy and her leash skills improve with every walk. Loo Loo is well house trained, however, she likes to hold it as long as possible. Loo Loo has not been tested with kids or cats; however, it’s expected that she reacts to them in a similar was as other people and dogs. Going to a home with another dog is not necessary, however, another dog will help her come out of her shell and would be best for her. Since Loo Loo is super shy, she will need a patient, experienced owner who is willing to hold her paw as she gets past her fears.

LooLoo came from a rural shelter in Oklahoma where she was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home.

LooLoo is a female Australian Kelpie/Shepherd mix who weighs 48 lbs and was born approximately 12-1-21. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. Dolly's Legacy Animal Rescue's mission is to save orphaned and abandoned pets from overcrowded shelters where they are out of time & out of hope to make it out alive. Far too many pets are facing a cruel death at high-intake, high-kill animal control facilities, some still using a gas chamber as a means of euthanasia. We rescue dogs, puppies, cats & kittens, and place them into loving foster homes while they receive all the vet care needed, including spay/neuter, heartworm testing & treatment, vaccinations, microchipping, treatment for parasites, surgical intervention, and hospitalization.
