Hi, my name is Lucy! I’m full of energy and love to play. But as long as you’re petting me, I’ll sit still right next to you or even on your lap. I’m still working on potty training, but I’m getting better every day. My foster mom is amazed she’s never heard me bark. I’m pretty quiet and am happy as long as I’m around people. I am learning not to jump on people, but it is so hard because I love everyone and want attention. My foster mom thinks I’m pretty smart. I’ve learned to sit, shake, “kennel up” and walk very well on a leash. I’m eager to keep learning new things. And I really like treats so I’ll do anything to get one. I can’t wait to find my forever family! Lucy is a Black Lab mix, weighs 31 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 5/01/2020. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive.  Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
