Lydia came in as a stray from Oklahoma and spent several months in the pound. Despite this rough life, she is turning into the absolutely best dog! Initially shy and apprehensive, she is improving each day and is adapting well to the Good Life in Nebraska! She is trained (going through a doggy door to get outside) and sleeps in a kennel at night. After a day of playing (best friends with an 8-lb Chiweenie), she loves to sit on the couch with the family in the evening. Hasn’t quite figured out walking on a leash, so will need work with that. She is a gem and will make a great companion/family pet! Lydia is a lab mix, weighs 45 pounds and is about 4 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
