Lyndy is fooling you with her shy first impression, once she feels secure she is all about the zoomies! She LOVES toys and will happily toss them in the air to entertain herself, or gladly share them with a friend. She is smart and eager to please you. Being on a leash is still pretty scary therefore she will require a fenced yard so she can romp & chase squirrels as much as she likes. Lyndy must have another dog to play with and learn from. Small kids would likely frighten her, but older, calmer kids would be okay as long as they are kind to animals and know how to respect their boundaries. This girl is so petite and adorable, she will melt your heart!

Requirements to adopt Lyndy:

*Must have another dog as a playmate, no exceptions

*Must own a home with a fenced yard; no apartment

*Must have exceptional veterinary reference & pet ownership history

Lyndy came into rescue as a breeder release. Lyndy is a female Beagle who was born approximately 1-1-22 and weighs 16 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on flea/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. Dolly's Legacy Animal Rescue's mission is to save orphaned and abandoned pets from overcrowded shelters where they are out of time & out of hope to make it out alive. Far too many pets are facing a cruel death at high-intake, high-kill animal control facilities, some still using a gas chamber as a means of euthanasia. We rescue dogs, puppies, cats & kittens, and place them into loving foster homes while they receive all the vet care needed, including spay/neuter, heartworm testing & treatment, vaccinations, microchipping, treatment for parasites, surgical intervention, and hospitalization.
