Are you looking for an incredibly sweet Boxer who is ready to be your best friend and shower you with hugs and kisses? Maggie is potty trained and trustworthy, happily free-roaming when her foster family is away. She loves to snuggle and will often curl up next to her human in bed at night. While Maggie gets along well with her foster dog sister and doesn’t initiate conflicts, she stands her ground if necessary. She would do best in a home with dogs that are peaceful and won’t start fights. Maggie is very affectionate and thrives in a loving environment. One important note: Maggie is quite afraid of storms. She manages okay when her foster family is home and she has access to a windowless room where she can hide, but she should not be kenneled or left alone in a room during severe weather. Although medication might help with her storm anxiety, it has not been tested yet. Maggie otherwise does well in her kennel. The lucky family who adopts Maggie will gain a loyal, loving companion who will bring joy and affection for years to come. Maggie is a female Boxer/mix who was was born approximately 6-28-20 and weighs 55 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
