MAGGY MAE

Maggy Mae is sassy and flirty. She knows she's cute and she knows how to work it. She has a strut in her walk and a smile that will melt any heart. Maggy Mae's tail is constantly wagging even when she's a little hesitant with people. She enjoys snuggles and pets, but it has to be on her terms. She took a few days to settle into her foster home, and at times, she is still a little scared of the humans, but overall she has adjusted really well. She may be tiny, but she has a big personality. Maggy Mae is bonded with Della and is looking to find a home that will welcome both of them. Maggy Mae is mostly house trained and she does excellent in a kennel. Maggy Mae gets along well with other dogs, but she hasn't had an opportunity to be around cats. She doesn't love to be on a leash, but we are working on that. Maggy would do best in a home without small children. Maggy Mae is a Chihuahua/Dachshund (Chiweenie) mix born 7-4-2012. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee for both Maggy Mae and Della Jo is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
