Maudie is a tender-hearted, petite girl who is learning how great life can be! She is fostered with dogs of all sizes and does well with all. She isn't sure what to make of cats, so she leaves them alone. Although not required, we would love to find a home for her with a fenced yard where she can relish in the attention and have free reign to chase butterflies and be on patrol for any pesky neighborhood squirrels. Maudie would do well as a single dog or with other friendly dogs, she ignores cats so would be fine in a home with them. She's more interested in making her humans happy & getting all the pets & loves! Maudie is a sweet girl that loves attention from her people, she is perfectly happy just laying on the couch all day.

Maudie is a female Beagle/Plott Hound mix who weighs 23 lbs and was born approximately 11-7-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. She has completed provided life-saving heartworm treatment and will need to remain on monthly heartworm preventative (as all dogs should). Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. Dolly's Legacy Animal Rescue's mission is to save orphaned and abandoned pets from overcrowded shelters where they are out of time & out of hope to make it out alive. Far too many pets are facing a cruel death at high-intake, high-kill animal control facilities, some still using a gas chamber as a means of euthanasia. We rescue dogs, puppies, cats & kittens, and place them into loving foster homes while they receive all the vet care needed, including spay/neuter, heartworm testing & treatment, vaccinations, microchipping, treatment for parasites, surgical intervention, and hospitalization.
