My name is Maverick; I am a gentle giant. I don’t realize how big I am, so I don’t understand why people don’t want me sitting on their lap. I love to hug and give kisses! I’m not real confident yet so takes a little bit of time to make sure new friends won’t hurt me. I love playing with other dogs. I haven’t been around any cats, but my foster mom thinks it wouldn’t take long for me to be good. I love kids, which if they are little might be a bad thing as I might knock them down, even though I try to love them gently. I haven’t had any accidents in the house or my kennel since coming from Oklahoma. Most of the time I just chew on my toys but occasionally I might find something else to chew on. My foster mom recommends anyone that is lucky enough to have me in their family, should make sure I get some training to keep working on my manners. Maverick is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative.
