Mickey was surrendered by his owner after he was diagnosed with diabetes, requiring insulin monitoring & injections. He is also emaciated at just 30 lbs. Mickey will be getting intensive care to get his insulin under control, his weight increased, and getting back to being a healthy & happy dog. Mickey is an Irish Setter, weighs X lbs and was born approximately 12/15/2010. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed. Mickey is undergoing life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. He will need to remain on heartworm preventive for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure he is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
