MING-MING

*ADOPTION PENDING, NO LONGER TAKING APPLICATIONS* Ming-Ming is petite senior lady who is ready for the next step in her journey. A retirement home with lots of love, sunbeams, soft doggy beds, yummy food, and a comfy lap or two. Ming-Ming spends most of her days napping but enjoys a good stroll with plenty of stops to sniff & discover new smells. She seems to be hard of hearing but her sight is great. She's housetrained and won't have accidents as long as she's kept on a regular schedule for potty breaks. While Ming-Ming does great with dogs her size as well as cats, she does get annoyed if another pet gets in "her space" and may give an alarm (tiny but mighty) bark. She very much wants to be the queen of the castle. Ming-Ming needs the following for her perfect match: *Experienced Pekingese owner for her breed specific needs  *Home with a fenced yard to keep her safe  *Quiet home with no children as she prefers a more slow pace and peace & quiet.  Ming-Ming was found in Texas as a stray and was microchipped, but the registered owners never returned multiple calls to claim her. Dolly's Legacy rescued her from the crowded city shelter along with a few of her shelter friends. Adopting a senior pet is one of the most rewarding things you can do, your years together may be limited, but there will be lots of joy added to both your lives!  Ming-Ming is a female purebred Pekingese, weighs 8 lbs and was born approximately 7-14-09. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
