MISS DEE

Hi! My Name Is MISS DEE

We're happy to tell you that MISS DEE has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
My name is Miss Dee, or just Dee for short! I know my name and I know “sit” too! I’m a real chill kind of girl and honestly, I prefer to just hang back and watch the other dogs and the cats. I tend to just study everyone and I like to keep an eye out the window to make sure my home is safe and sound. I’m more of a mature kind of gal and I do enjoy playing but chill is more my thing so if you’re looking for a mellow and calm dog, I’m your girl! I like other dogs and am good with or without one in the house with me. I get along fine with my foster cats. I like to watch them play but we have a non-verbal agreement that there’s no need for much interaction between us. I don’t need to be in a kennel and I don’t really care for it but I’m well-behaved and just have the run of the house at night and when my foster mom is gone since I’m house trained. I absolutely LOVE to get petted and hugged. I also really love sleeping up on the bed at night with the rest of the foster family and it’s so soft and warm! Once you see my gorgeous eyes and my unique deep red coat you will just love me! I’m finishing up treatment for Heartworm disease and will be ready to be in a home by the beginning of March so please give me a chance to show how wonderful I am. Miss Dee is a black mouth cur/boxer mix (our best guess on breed), weighs 60 lbs and was born approximately 2/1/2018. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Miss Dee is undergoing life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. She will need to remain on heartworm preventative for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure she is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
