Hi! I’m Mitzi and ready to love my forever family! As soon as my foster family brought me home I showed them I’m nice to other dogs, know to potty outside and sleep in my comfy big bed. I love mom, dad and teenage sister. If a stranger comes to the door, I let them know with some barks, but I stop when they tell me we’re safe. I love my food A LOT so mom is showing me some diet tips like not eating so much. I love walks and mom said that’s a great activity to help trim me down. Cooked sweet potatoes and green beans are kind of yummy snacks too! I’m a pro at sitting on laps and giving kisses. I know how to sit and love to play fetch with soft toys. I enjoy spending time with teenagers, younger kids, other dogs, and even a bunny. I’m so excited to meet you! Mitzi came from Texas where she lived with her human parents until they split up & then she was headed for a crowded shelter. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Mitzi is a female Corgi/Chihuahua mix (our best guess of breeds), weighs a hefty 47 lbs (needs to go on a diet & exercise program) and was born approximately 1-30-17. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
