Hi there! My name is Moon Pie! And I'm as sweet as my name implies! I'm a very shy girl but once I get to know you I will never leave your side. My foster mom is being very patient and introducing this city stuff really slow. I walk really well on a leash and I would love to find someone who takes me for a lot of walks! I'm not really fond of my kennel but my mom gives me lots of treats and toys when I'm in there so it's not that bad. Did I tell you I love to chew on nylabones??? I'm getting the hang of some basic commands like sit, shake, kennel, and outside. And my mom gets so excited when I go poo and pee out in the grass! I really like all those tummy scratches that she gives so I'm working really hard at this. I really need to have a canine friend about my size or larger in my new home as I am much more confident when I have a doggy friend to follow. Ok gosh, I think that's enough about me. How about you? Do you think that we would make good partners?? Moon Pie is a Collie/Aussie mix, weighs 41 lbs and was born approximately 10/29/2019. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
