MUSTANG SALLY

Meet Sally. A petite Husky mix who loves to chase squirrels go on walks and lay in the living room while you watch TV. Sally is sweet with people and with dogs as long as she knows the dogs and they don’t bother her while she eats. She knows how to use a doggie door, and she walks without tugging on the leash. Sally responds best to encouragement and patience. If you tug too hard on the leash she’ll try to slip out of it and if you leave her home while you walk your other dogs she will howl and try to find a way to join you. She sleeps through the night, doesn’t bark very much, has a sweet playful nature, and is house trained. She loves the water and plays well with more energetic dogs. She loves having her tummy rubbed and prefers meat treats, she avoids vegetable-based treats and food. Mustang Sally was rescued from rural Oklahoma where she had wandered up to a man's home and he said "I just usually shoot them, but there was something special about this girl and I just couldn't do it to her". She's one of the lucky ones who made it out of that area alive. Most are not so lucky. Welcome to Dolly's Legacy, sweet girl. Mustang Sally is a petite Husky mix who weighs 42 lbs and was born approximately 7-16-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
