Are you looking for a cuddly puppy that has a lot of love to give? That will be me, Oreo! Cuddling with my human is my #1 favorite and getting belly rub is #2. I quickly became the shadow of my foster mom as she keeps telling me what a good pup I am; I love following her around and just sit there and watch what she is up to. I keep myself occupied with toys or naps while she works at her desk and cause not a single trouble. I am calm and well-behaved, and whichever family gets me will be very lucky. I leave human stuff alone and only play with my toys. I am well socialized, friendly to all human and other dogs, but all my 100% affection is devoted to the people I am loyal to (no others get the wiggle butt engine turn on max mode). I haven’t been tested with cats but I think I will like them too. At night, I sleep in a crate next to the bed, but I would rather stay in bed with you. Plus, I am potty trained so you don’t have to worry. I am also a good watch dog. I will bark to let you know if there are any intruders, but don’t rely on me to fight the bad guys as I am a sweet boy with no mean bone in my body! Oreo came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where he was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & his time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to his rescue and saved his life. Now he is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Oreo is a growing Border Collie/Retriever mix pup who was born approximately 1-8-21. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
