PANDA

Panda is a very sweet playful pup who would do great in a home with another dog to play with. She loves playing with her three foster brother pups and her sister Polar. With Panda still being a puppy she is working on potty training. We are also trying to work on basic commands as she is very food motivated. She loves running around the yard with other pups and could be out there for hours. She doesn’t mind being brushed and does well when clipping her nails as it is important to have pups, especially with this breed and at a young age get used to having these things done as this breed will require regular grooming. The leash is something we’re going to start teaching her as she has never been on one before. For now she loves to be carried around. Hopefully she knows she can’t always be a lap dog. She is going to be a big girl! We have been teaching her and her sister that the kennel is a safe place and not a punishment. She has no problems going in and out but may need bribed to go in there at times. Due to her breed and size, she will need to have a fenced in yard and be in a home with kids over the age of 6. Since she is still a puppy she is teething and learning not to nibble. She has been doing very well when redirected with toys. Panda loves to cuddle and be next to her people but loves hanging out with other pups a little bit more. This girl is the sweetest and we know once you meet her you will fall in love. Requirements to adopt Panda:

*Prefer another dog as a companion

*Must own a home with a fenced yard or acreage; no apartment, no exceptions

*Must have exceptional veterinary reference & pet ownership history

Panda came into rescue from Oklahoma where she was found as a stray with her sister, Polar, and went unclaimed. Panda is a growing female Border Collie/Spaniel mix puppy (our best guess of breeds) who was born approximately 10-10-22. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on flea/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $650 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
