I'm a sweet Italian Greyhound mix with all the love and personality of a dog, but in the compact size of a cat. Because I'm tiny, I can live in any home, apartment, or other living situation. I will be a great companion for any humans that want a sweet small dog to adopt. I'm good on walks, and I love to play fetch, both inside and outside. I like chewy toys and treats as well (squeaky balls are my favorite). However, I will also cuddle sweetly with you on the couch. My foster home has a cat, and I have been very sweet and respectful of her. I'm good with all dogs too -- I sometimes get a little timid if they're really big, but if they're friendly, I soon want to say hi and play. I'm hopeful I can soon find my special human! Pepita came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where she was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & her time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Pepita is an Italian Greyhound/mix, weighs 8 lbs and was born approximately 10-24-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
