Pawnee is as handsome as they come—in fact, the entire litter he is part of are gorgeous pups! Pawnee is such a lovable, courageous, and curious boy! He likes to be around his people, he enjoys the company of other dogs, he is learning to sit, and he does this cute little prance when he is working his way over to you that makes him look like a reindeer! Pawnee has been working on potty training and doing excellent in his kennel during the day. He really is such a sweet boy who wants to be with his pack at night and will sleep through the night right next to you. Pawnee is working on leash skills and does fairly well when he has another dog to walk with—he likes to walk close to his foster sister, but she likes to give him a nudge so we are working on solo walks. Pawnee has not been around cats, but we would expect he would be just fine, perhaps a little curious! Pawnee will make a great pet for just about anyone—he would likely love a family, but be perfectly fine being an individual’s sidekick! While a fenced yard is not required, Pawnee does love sniffing around the yard and enjoying outdoor play time playing fetch and chasing his foster siblings. Pawnee enjoys a good bone or chew toy while chilling on the plush rug inside and hanging on the couch with his foster mom. Pawnee is a Lab/mix, weighs 30 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 6-4-19. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
