PAXON

Paxon was timid when he first arrived but after the first couple days he completely adjusted to his foster home. He is very affectionate and wants to be with people. His personality is a little more laid back than most dogs but he does like to chew if he is not kept busy! He will need physical and mental stimulation to keep him from chewing on things he shouldn't. He is fine with laying in his kennel near his humans. He is used to sleeping in his kennel and doesn’t whine when he goes in there at night. He got used to his leash right away and doesn’t pull very much. He is potty trained and has had no accidents in the house. He prefers to have a person in the back yard with him. He is a bit of a digger and did manage to escape the backyard once! Paxon is very quiet and not much of a barker. He is very good with kids. He is very sweet and gentle with the one year old his foster mom babysits for. Paxon is very nice to the neighbor dog and dogs that he meets on the trail.  Paxon is afraid of stairs but will do a couple of them. All in all he is a great companion who wants to be with people. Paxon is a gorgeous golden boy, a Black Mouth Cur/Lab mix, weighs 51 lbs and was born approximately 3-1-19. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
