Pepper Honeybun & her sister, Cinnamon Honeybee, are precious girls who were adopted in 2018 as tiny pups (see photos), but were recently returned through no fault of their own. The family felt it was in the girls' best interest to place them back into rescue to find new homes. The girls both do great on leash, but are understandably frightened and confused at what has happened to them and why their family left them. They do great with dogs of all sizes as well as cats. Young children and loud/scary noises would probably frighten them (although they have shown no aggression, just nervous around lots of commotion). They are housetrained, not having any accidents even at 12+ hours overnight. They love to romp in the sunshine and sniff all the smells. A fenced yard would be ideal so they can play freely. Apartment living would not suit them. They are gentle, friendly, chubby girls who simply want to please their person and have such pleading eyes seeking approval. It is not required that they be adopted together but we would welcome an opportunity to keep them as a pair.
Pepper Honeybun & Cinnamon Honeybee are Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier mixes who were born approximately 3-12-18 and weigh 46 lbs. They are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $350 individually, or $450 as a pair, to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs.
