Hi I'm Pilgrim! I'm a shy girl at first due to my past and I need some time to warm up to humans. I LOVE other dogs though! I have 5 four legged foster siblings and I love each one of them. I have never made a mess in my kennel overnight or in the house during the day, I'm such a good girl. I don't bark much, just when someone comes to the door. I have a few requirements for my new family so I can have the best life I deserve. I need an experienced owner who will work with me and understands it will take time for me to open up. I also require a fenced in yard. Lastly I would do best in a calm and quiet home. I am a really great dog once you get to know me and I just love to be loved. Are you ready to love me? Pilgrim came from rural southern Oklahoma where she was found as a stray and never reclaimed. The only way she would make it out of the shelter alive was to be rescued as they do not have any volunteer or adoption programs in their rural animal control facility. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Pilgrim is a female Beagle, weighs 21 lbs and was born approximately 10-24-19. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
