REX

Hi! My name is Rex and I love to play, as soon as I see you, I’m ready to go! My foster home has a big back yard and I think that is really neat, I would for sure love one of my own. After a long play with my brother Rags and foster dog sisters I like to nap on a comfy blanket. I am doing great with my potty training and Im working on crate training overnight. I have two foster cat sisters and I am very interested in getting to know them, but I understand when to give them space. I’m still working on some basic commands such as sit, down and any fun tricks you may know. I’m very food motivated and love treats so teaching me won’t be too hard. I haven’t met any kids since coming to my foster home, but I bet I would love to play with them. Would you like a chance to meet me? Rex and his brother, Rags,  came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where they were in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & their time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to their rescue and saved their lives. Now both are ready for a new chapter with forever homes. Rex is a growing Black Labrador Retriever mix who was born approximately 2-9-21. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
