You’ll immediately notice that Rebecca is a gorgeous girl, but once you get to know her, you will quickly learn that her best feature is her sweetness! Rebecca is the most gentle, calm, and precious dog you’ll ever meet. She wants nothing more in life than to love, and receive love in return. She has not always had an easy time in life, and she is still working to overcome that past. She likely never received much attention or love, but also knew abuse. She warms up very quickly to new people, but takes a longer time to fully trust. She thrives on encouragement and praise, and when she knows she’s done something well or accomplished something new, you can see the puppy that is still inside coming out little by little. Although she is a little unsure on a leash, Rebecca loves being outside, is excellent with cats and other dogs, and is perfectly crate trained. She has done incredibly well with potty training, and with regular trips outside, she is perfect. This most precious angel of a pup is a privilege to love, and with continued love her confidence will grow and she will continue to blossom!!

Requirements to adopt Rebecca:

*Exceptional veterinary reference with responsible pet ownership history

*Needs experienced owner and one who is willing to go all in for her: super patient and very encouraging. She is absolutely perfect but SO CAUTIOUS. Tons of love and encouragement make her a happy dog!

*Does not need other dog: would do best with very calm dog friend or friends. Very active dogs just confuse her and make her a little nervous sometimes, but she met a neighbor dog who is a gentle giant and she really liked him.  She is totally neutral around the cats and would be perfect with them.

*Fenced yard: She does really like being outside but the leash makes her nervous, so would do best with a fenced yard.

*No kids in the home age 12 or under, she is frightened by them. She would never hurt anyone ever, but a busy household would make her more nervous. She would do best with as chill an environment as possible. 

Rebecca is a female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was born 9-1-16. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on heartworm preventative.  Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
