My name is Reuben.  Hello! Would you like to hear my story? Well I was found abandoned near a sandwich shop with my six siblings in Oklahoma. Some pretty amazing people took care of us and told Dolly’s all about us. And how could Dolly’s say no to these faces?! We were all given sandwich names to honor this turning point in our lives. Now I am in Nebraska living in a foster home.  So far it is wonderful. My sisters love playing in the swimming pool, I haven’t figured out yet what they see in it. I am active when not in my kennel, but when I run for a while I settle down fast. I am quick so if you don’t want something in my mouth you better pick it up. My foster mom is happy I haven’t had any accidents in the house or my kennel since I arrived. I haven’t met a toy I don’t love or a treat I won’t eat. I love to play with my foster siblings even though they are big. We have plenty to eat and that is good because we are always hungry, but we are still growing. I love to jump on people, but mom says it isn’t good so I’m working hard to not do it but it is so hard. My foster mom thinks my sisters and I are pretty smart and learn fast, it seems to make her happy. I am looking for some family to be mine. Reuben is a Lab mix, weighs 15 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 5-9-20. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
