Hi there! My name is Rocky and I’m a very goofy boy that loves to run around and wrestle with my brother Dex and other foster brothers. I get so excited when I see other dogs and I just want to play with them. I sometimes tend to be a little shy when meeting new people at first but once you give me all the belly rubs it doesn’t take long before I want to become your best friend. I’m still working on some basic commands and potty training but I know that I will get the hang of it in no time! I would love to find a home with a fenced in yard to let all my zoomies out in as my favorite place to be is outdoors. I’m doing really well with my kennel training as I don’t make a peep and I will walk right in there. My favorite toys at the moment are rope toys and tennis balls as I love to play tug of war and fetch. I haven’t quite got the hang of bringing it back yet. I get told quite often how cute I am when running around with a tennis ball in my mouth as the ball is almost bigger than my head. If your looking for an active, cute and cuddly pup I may just be your dude! Rocky and his littermates along with their mom, Flora, came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where they were in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter. Dolly's Legacy came to their rescue and saved their lives. Now they are ready for a new chapter with forever homes.  Rocky is a growing male Cattle Dog mix pup who was born approximately 5-3-21. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
