ROLLIE

Hi! My Name Is ROLLIE

We're happy to tell you that ROLLIE has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

My name is Rollie. My favorite thing is free-playing outside, so I'm really hoping for a home with big fenced yard. Sometimes when my foster parents tell me it is time to go back in the house, I do a small protest thing where I sit down and stare at them until they have to come get me. They say I’m opinionated in an endearing way, whatever that means. While in foster care, I live with my brother Wallie and we love to play chase and wrestle games. I am usually in charge when we play, but sometimes I do let him win because it is fun. I am super curious about other animals and want to play with all of them, but I’m having trouble getting the grumpy cat and dog in my foster home to play with me despite giving them every “play with me” signal I can come up with. I really like it when the humans pet me and rub my tummy, but I do not like to be held. I enjoy playing with middle-school aged kids, but haven’t met any younger kids yet. Since I have a small independent streak, being on a leash is not my favorite, but I’m learning and my foster parents think I’ll be great at it eventually. Even so, I’ll be most happy if I have a fenced yard where I can play freely because that really is my favorite thing. My foster parents also think I’m doing good with potty training. As long as they let me out regularly during the day, I don’t have accidents in the house. I'm growing fast and I think I'm going to be pretty big (and really fluffy!), so I need a home that is prepared for a big girl who needs daily exercise, brushing, and leaves slobber & hair in all the wrong places!
