**PENDING ADOPTION - no longer taking applications for Sally** I'm a calm, sweet Lab, looking for a human (or humans) that will love me as much as I love them. I'm a bit older, but have picked up a lot of good qualities from that time. I'm well behaved indoors -- I don't chew on anything that I shouldn't, and my foster has never heard me bark. I'm also nice to any other dogs and cats I may live with. My foster doesn't keep me in a kennel, but I don't really need it, since I don't make a mess, and have never had an accident indoors. Ultimately, I am very low maintenance, and my favorite activity is sitting or sleeping near my human. I still enjoy relaxed walks outside, though I won't join you for a jog or half marathon. I'm great on a leash, and never pull or get distracted. I am also friendly to all dogs and humans that I meet, and politely walk up to them to say hello (I never jump on them). Overall, I'm a sweet girl that would be happy with humans in many different situations. I will never be described as hyper, and would also be fine with an apartment or smaller space. Further, I am calm, and would be a fine addition to many different living situations. I'm currently undergoing heartworm treatment but when I'm done I'll be ready for my forever family! Sally is a Labrador, weighs 68 lbs and was born approximately 12-19-10. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed. Sally had life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. She will need to remain on heartworm preventive for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure she is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
