Hi! My name is Sam the Man (I'm really THAT cool, I needed a special name).  I am a very smart & affectionate boy. I enjoy the company of other people, especially burrowing my head into their lap. I love to go on walks and would make a great exercise buddy (let's go for a run!). I may need a little leash work as I can pull a little but have been practicing and getting better at it. I just get a distracted by all the smells and especially the squirrels! I love playing with my toys, fetch is my favorite. I am very good at not getting into things at night as I like sleeping in my kennel with the door open. Due to my breed I would do best with a fenced yard where I can run around in. I would also prefer a home with older children as I wouldn’t want to knock little ones down. I also like select big dogs. I just love getting all the attention. Cats are snacks in my world, so I probably better get a home without any. I would love to find a home for Christmas. If you think we would be a great match feel free to put in an application. Can’t wait to meet you! Sam the Man is a male German Shepherd, weighs 80 lbs and was born approximately 8-18-17. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Sam had life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. He will need to remain on heartworm preventative for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure he is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $300 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
