Sammy is a terrific dog with big floppy ears. She is happy to be with people and is affectionate. Sammy has had a hard life and was probably used for breeding. However, once she came into rescue, she never looked back and holds no grudges. She is such a terrific dog and her foster family says she's the best foster they’ve ever had. Our dream family for Sammy would be a retired couple that could give her a lot of attention. They could have another dog or not but she would be the smaller dog. Sammy would do well in an apartment or a home, with or without kids. We are just hoping for a person or family that sees how amazing she is. She deserves kindness and lots and lots of love.
Sammy is a female Chiweenie who weighs 9 lbs and was born approximately 9-1-13. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on heartworm preventative. She was also given a dental to extract bad teeth and clean up the others. Adoption fee is $275 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
