Meet little miss Sandra Dee! This little gal is pretty bashful when meeting new people, but once she warms up she is the most loving and cuddly pup. While humans may be a little scary at first, she loves meeting new dogs. Sandy loves to run and play and is great at taking behavioral cues from her foster brothers. She knows when they're done playing and respects their space, but when they're ready to go again, she's right there with them! Once she's tuckered out from playing the chase game with the other dogs, she comes in and cuddles up right next to her humans. She loves being outside and spends the majority of her time there playing with the pups and chasing squirrels up the tree. And when I say chasing squirrels up the tree, I mean this girl climbs the tree in the backyard! She would be incredible at agility training once she settles in with her forever family. Sandy is a great dog who's fully potty trained, isn't destructive, and is the sweetest little cuddler around. While Sandy may be shy at first, she now knows she can trust humans. It might take her a bit of time to warm up to her forevers, but the joy of watching a scared, shy dog come out of their shell is so rewarding and she is so worth it. Take her home and once she busts out of her shell, you'll have a devoted companion and best friend for life. 

Requirements to adopt Sandy:

*Home ownership with secure fenced yard, no apartment

*Must have another dog as a companion for her

*Adult-only home that has a calm environment without a lot of commotion or coming/going of new people

Sandy came from a rural shelter in Oklahoma where she was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home.

Sandy is a female Shepherd/Collie mix who weighs 50 lbs and was born approximately 12-1-21. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
