Hi! I'm Shortstack and I'm looking for a quiet home to grow up in. I'm a shy, quiet girl so would appreciate a calmer home. I like the human kids in my home but they know how to be gentle and kind with me. I love dogs and while I haven't been around cats, I don't think they would bother me. I'm super snuggly so would love a warm lap to curl up on! Shortstack is a Mountain Cur/Basset Hound (our best guess of breeds) who was born approximately 1-1-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.

Dolly's Legacy Animal Rescue's mission is to save orphaned and abandoned pets from overcrowded shelters where they are out of time & out of hope to make it out alive. Far too many pets are facing a cruel death at high-intake, high-kill animal control facilities, some still using a gas chamber as a means of euthanasia. We rescue dogs, puppies, cats & kittens, and place them into loving foster homes while they receive all the vet care needed, including spay/neuter, heartworm testing & treatment, vaccinations, microchipping, treatment for parasites, surgical intervention, and hospitalization.
