Hi! My Name Is SINATRA

We're happy to tell you that SINATRA has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Try not to fall in love with our blue-eyed Bassador, Sinatra! He will win you over with his charm & handsomeness. Sinatra loves going for walks, playing with toys, and snoozing in the sun. He loves people, especially those who give him massages! He has a gentle disposition & sweet temperament, but is also SO much fun and is a real hoot, providing lots of entertainment. Sinatra is a true gentleman. He gets along well with other dogs and people of all ages, including children. He will lay quietly at your feet, but will let you know when it's time to be petted or a good belly rub by looking at you with his beautiful, soulful eyes. Sinatra doesn't know "personal space" when it comes to other dogs, so if you are thinking of adding him to a home with another dog or dogs, they must be tolerant of him not understanding not all dogs want him all up in their business. Here he is starring in his very own youtube video:

Requirements to adopt Sinatra: Ability to provide an endless number of kisses & cuddles, this is a must; Home ownership with a fenced yard, no apartment; ability to take on daily walks, verifiable exceptional pet ownership history.

Sinatra was rescued as part of our "Clear the Shelter Campaign" in 2016 when Dolly's Legacy rescued every animal from a rural Oklahoma shelter, all whom were slated to be killed. He had been adopted by a family at that time, but sadly due to increasingly severe allergic reaction to his fur, the family is asking him to be rehomed.

Sinatra was born approximately 10-2-15, weighs 50 lbs and by looks, appears to be a Bassador (mix of Basset Hound & Labrador). However, DNA test results are a bit baffling, showing him to be American Staffie/Mastiff/Miniature Dachshund/Hound/Terrier.

Sinatra is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative & dewormed. Adoption fee is $300 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
