SUSIE

Susie is a gentle girl who loves hugs. She loves attention from everyone and gets along well with small dogs. She is comfortable running around a fenced yard and once she figures out how fun a walk is, she will be happy to have a leash put on. She eats a regular diet and sleeps well. She is not fully house trained but seems like a smart girl that will quickly learn. Susie would do great in a home that gives her a lot of attention.  Her energy level is low. She is a dainty, sweet little girl who loves attention.  She wants to be cuddled and loves all humans but timid around big dogs. She is fostered with cats and does well with them. We feel active, little kids would make her too nervous and she would not do well living with them on a regular basis. Older grandkids who are respectful that only visit would be okay. A quiet home with a securely fenced yard would be best for her. Susie was surrendered to rescue after a breeder decided to retire her from that life. She will need work with leash training as this is a new experience for her. She loves to run around in the yard, so we are requiring that she go to a home with a fenced yard. She will need a little work on potty training, handling the cold weather is difficult for her.  You will fall in love with Susie the second you meet her!
