Hi my name is Smidget, but they call me Smidgee. I think it’s a silly name, but my foster Mommy tells me I’m as cute as my name. They say it sounds soft, sweet and squishy just like me! My foster home is great because one of my puppy sisters came with me and I have two human sisters too. It’s a girl party hang out every day. We love to play, nap and best of all EAT! One of my human sisters tells me I remind her of Rolly from 101 Dalmations. It’s probably cause I am a little pudgy, slightly clumpy and I love my treats! But, I am really really sweet playing with my human sisters, and my puppy sister and I love to play tug of war with all of our toys. Sometimes, I have to play with all the fun toys by myself cause all my sisters are napping. It doesn’t take me long to join them, who can resist a cuddly lap to snuggle up in. I also do great in my kennel, that’s where I sleep at night and walk right in when mom says is nite nite time. It’s cause I know how to be a good girl to get a treat! I can hold my potty all night long until mom let’s me out in the morning. I am working hard on my potty training, I almost have it down. Remember I like treats and I LOVE being outside. I love to explore, sniff, run or just sit on the patio and enjoy the fresh air. I cannot wait until we get some nice days here in Lincoln because my mom tells me that she is going to take me on a walk. I’m not sure what that is yet, but since we do it outside I know I will love it. If you like playing, treats, naps and being outside, I’m your gal! Smidget is a Pointer/Basset Hound (our best guess of breeds) who was born approximately 1-1-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
