Spencer is a fun-loving boy who likes to romp with other dogs and if a dog challenges him, he thinks it's play. He would be happiest in a home with a fenced yard as he isn't yet confident walking on a leash and would rather be free without being leashed. He will need work on walking on leash as he is super excited about going places. He will guard his home like his life depends on it. Prefers women over men in most cases. Spencer can keep himself occupied playing ball or with you throwing toys or playing tug. Likes to chew bones and does well when being left alone. He will wake you up with gentle nudges and cuddles, takes treats gently. Runs up and down stairs without a care that he is a stubby boy causing frequent trips 
He is such a fun little dog and his foster wishes she could add another one to her home because this boy is a total gem!
Spencer came into rescue from a rural Missouri shelter where he was found as a stray and never reclaimed. Spencer is a male Glen of Imaal Terrier mix (our best guess of breed) who was born approximately 5-15-21 and weighs 35 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on flea/heartworm prevention. He tested negative for heartworm disease. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
