SUNNY

Sunny is a ray of sunshine and one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet! She is very affectionate and loves belly rubs. She just wants to be next to her people all the time! She's picky on her dog friends and hasn't been tested with cats so might do best as an only pet in her new home. Sunny has a sad story to tell. Someone found her sitting all alone outside a rural town, clearly dumped there because she had her dog bed with her (apparently that made her horrible owners feel better about leaving her there). Making matters worse, it was evident she had recently had puppies but they were no where to be found. So once again, humans used her for greed, got what they wanted out of her, then abandoned her. How she can still be so loving & trusting is a mystery. She holds no ill will and is just so grateful that someone found her before she starved to death. Sunny deserves a happily-ever-after with people who adore her. She is a true gem of a dog. Sunny is an All-American Pitbull Terrier, weighs 57 lbs and was born approximately 1-8-17. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Sunny had life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. She will need to remain on heartworm preventative for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure she is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $300 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
