Hi, I'm Suzie Lou! I just finished raising my puppies (the Happy Days gang) and am now ready to find a home of my own. I'm a sweet girl who likes to snuggle but can also do my own thing. I'm in a foster home with a cat and 2 other dogs. I'm not really interested in the cat 'cuz he's super boring. The dogs are fine to hang out with because they're pretty chill like me. No crazy wrestle-mania like when I had my puppies with me! I'm more of a chill girl happy to hang out and chill when inside but you will see my true Beagle traits when I'm outside! I love being out in the yard with my nose to the ground. I will track that rabbit scent from one side of the yard to the other in no time flat. And if I see that rabbit, you will hear my Beagle howl! I don't bark or howl at other things, though, just those rascally rabbits! I do okay on leash but I am a stubborn Beagle so I do want to follow my nose instead of my human. I'm house trained and know sit. I don't know much else yet but am learning. I do not like to be confined in a kennel or behind a gate as I want to be out with my pack. I haven't been around any kids since I arrived in Nebraska but my foster mom thinks I'd be fine with them due to my sweet, gentle nature. I think I'd prefer a quieter house, though, like my foster home. I would love a fenced in yard to roam in and an owner that will let me snuggle up on the couch and bed. Is that you? Suzie Lou is a petite Beagle, weighing in at only 15 pounds, and was born approximately 5/29/2018. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
