Teddy aka Tedward, Tedwin, Teduardo, Teddifer, Tedberly, knows his name and loves cuddles. Teddy is an independent boy who doesn't mind sleeping on the bed, on the floor, or in a totally separate room. He will let you know when he wants all the snuggles. Teddy is currently underweight and we're working on gaining weight. He's very chatty and would do best with a human who is home with him most of the time. He does very well when his foster parent isn't home, but he's had a lot of upheaval, and tends to be very needy when his person returns, needing verification that he's still loved and such a good boy. Teddy was given up because a small child stepped on him and he reacted - he did not bite, he just reacted to being hurt - and the adult human decided it was not an appropriate response. Teddy is a very active senior who seems years younger than his nearly 12 years (DOB 10/1/12). He walks great on a leash. He pretty much ignores all the other critters in the house. So you have the honor to be the focus of his attention. Will you be the best rest of his life?
Teddy is a male ShihPoo who was was born 10-1-12 and weighs 11 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on heartworm prevention. He also had a dental procedure with 15 extractions. Adoption fee is $300 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
