TIA

Hi! My Name Is TIA

We're happy to tell you that TIA has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
Hello, I’m Tia. Everyone says I’m gorgeous and they barely notice that one of my legs is short and doesn’t reach the ground. I can run like the wind (it’s the Vizsla in me). I am also incredibly sweet and really really want a family to give all my love and hugs. People are my favorite thing in the world (it’s the Labrador in me). I haven’t meet you yet but I know I love you. I’m from Texas. I had a hard time down there but I was with my twin sister Tamara. We were named after the twins on that TV show Tia and Tamara. We are a bit rambunctious when we are together so when we got to Nebraska, we ended up in separate fosters and we did much better. I was fostered with many other dogs so I didn’t miss my bigger twin, Tamara, at all. I get along with everyone. I’m just a very loveable sweet goofball says one of my fosters. I am still really underweight so you can give me LOTS of treats. Well maybe not treats, but I really like food and am so happy to not have to worry about when my next meal will come. I’m starting to get used to Good Life here in Nebraska. A forever home with a fenced yard would make my life perfect. Right now I’m probably only 55 lbs. I am about a year old and still have a lot of puppy ways about me so I hope you have the patience to work with me to make sure that I fit well with your lifestyle. I am so so so smart and I really want to please you so I am a quick study. Tia came from a Texas shelter along with her twin sister, Tamara. They are beautiful, high energy girls who need active, adventure-seeking homes. Tia has a paw deformity or possible traumatic injury that has left her with missing digits on her right front paw, but it doesn't slow her down one bit.  Tia is a female Vizsla/Yellow Lab who weighs 60 lbs and was born approximately 12-17-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. If interested in adopting one of our available dogs or puppies, please complete an online adoption application at https://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ You will be contacted by our adoption coordinator via email after your application has been reviewed & approved to schedule an appointment.
