Tito is a gentle, shy little rescue pup who, along with his best friend Belvedere, was saved from a breeding facility and is now learning what true love and comfort feel like. While Belvedere is the braver of the pair, Tito’s sweetness shines through in quieter moments--he adores cuddles, especially when strangers are around and he wants to keep his people safe by curling up protectively on their lap. Though he won’t always ask for affection, he melts when picked up and showered with gentle love, all on his terms. Tito is still mastering potty training and, due to a scary experience with a slip lead, hasn’t yet started leash walks, so a secure fenced yard is a must until he’s harness-trained. He’s wonderfully cat-friendly--one of the rescue kittens, Cîroc, has even adopted Tito and Belvedere as her beloved “dog dads,” snuggling up with them every chance she gets. Because of his shy nature, Tito would do best in an adult-only home or with older, calm kids, and in return, he’ll blossom into the sweetest lap dog who will spend his days devoted to making you feel as loved as he finally knows he is.
