WALLIE

My name is Wallie, and I love to play hard and snuggle. My sister Rollie and I zoom all around the yard wrestling and playing keep away with toys. One of my favorite tricks is to dive into a small hiding spot like under stairs or under a bench and then pounce back out to attack. I have met my foster family’s cat and two dogs. I am an exuberant puppy so really want to play with all of them, but they seem a bit grumpy and I’ve had to learn to give them a little space. I also love to interact with people, but when I meet new people I like to watch them from a distance a bit first. I have been around several middle-school aged kids and have a blast with them. I like it when they run and I get to chase them. I also like getting tummy rubs when I catch them. I have not been around smaller children; I feel like I might be intimidated by them if they are loud or unpredictable. I am starting to learn about leashes. Sometimes I get frustrated and so chew on them, but my foster parents say I’m ready to try some walks around the neighborhood. I’m also not house trained yet, but I’m working hard on it. I prefer to go potty outside and do my best to hold it when I’m inside, but once in a while still have accidents. I will need a family who can help me continue to build this skill. I’m looking for people who will love me, give me lots of cuddles and tummy rubs, and play with me!! I'm growing fast and I think I'm going to be pretty big (and really fluffy!), so I need a home that is prepared for a big boy who needs daily exercise, brushing, and leaves slobber & hair in all the wrong places!

Wallie is a growing male Great Pyrenees/English Setter (mom was a purebred Setter) puppy who was born approximately 5-25-23. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/heartworm preventative, dewormed . Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
