Hi, I’m Wally and thankfully rescued by someone named Dolly. I’m shy but trying to figure out how to play. I love laying by your side having head massages. I’m good at using a pet door and will require a fenced yard to learn new things. I’m working on potty training, leash walking and socializing. I need someone who is able to dedicate their time teaching me the things I never had the chance to learn. I don’t like kennels but a small open area is much better. My previous owner used me to breed, then took me to the shelter and left. I made it out of Oklahoma, it couldn’t have been any “Sooner”.During my transport I even heard a “boomer”. Then...this Dolly whispering from above, don’t worry Wally, you are now in Cornhusker Nation. I believe in them, you will enjoy the “Frost” from a couch not a hard ground. They will not let u down. Wally needs someone to show him love, patience, football, and dress him in red. He deserves to WIN! Wally would do best in a home that is willing to give him the time he needs to learn how to be a happy & loved pet; a quieter home with adults only or children over 12 would be best for him. We require an adopter for Clyde with previous dog ownership history & verifiable vet reference. Wally is a male Maltese, weighs 10 lbs and was born approximately 7-29-12. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm prevention. Wally also had a dental procedure & fluoride treatment with a few extractions so would do best with a primarily soft diet. Adoption fee is $300 individually, or $500 with his twin brother, Clyde, to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
