My name is Walter and I hope you like to play! I'm super curious about everything and love to explore, especially outdoors! I'm such a good boy and I already know how to sit and wait for my food. Potty training is still a work in progress, but I am already really good at holding it overnight and won't make a peep until I hear that you're already up for the day. I do pretty well on a leash for being so young. Toys are my absolute most favorite thing and don't worry I'm not too picky, I'll play with anything you get me! I love playing with other dogs and haven't met a single person I don't like. I can't wait to find my furever home! Walter came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where he was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & his time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to his rescue and saved his life. Now he is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Walter is a growing Retriever/Mountain Cur mix pup who was born approximately 3-5-21. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
