Wheezy Bear is a heartwarming bundle of joy who greets every day with the happiest dog smile you can imagine! Since arriving in his foster home, Wheezy Bear has made remarkable strides in his health, and he thoroughly enjoys outdoor activities that help him stay active and continue to improve his lungs and joints. Despite being 8 years old, Wheezy Bear still has plenty of energy and can race with the best of them on his good days. His enthusiasm extends to meeting new people, and he loves to show his affection with licks and cuddles. He has quickly adapted to house training and now confidently does his business outside, often waiting by the door to let you know when it's time for his next outing. Having come to his foster home malnourished, Wheezy Bear has since regained his healthy weight and has developed a healthy appetite. He enjoys his meals and is careful to respect the feeding space of his canine companions. While he could easily be tempted to eat their food, he is kept on a structured feeding schedule to prevent overeating. His favorite treats are peanut butter-flavored, which he eagerly devours between meals. Wheezy Bear is protective of his human’s food, so he is fed at the same time as his human family to avoid any issues. Although he gets along well with his dog buddies, he is not particularly fond of cats. He enjoys playing with his basketball, chewing on bones, and engaging in tug-of-war games with a rope toy. Above all, Wheezy Bear is a loving and affectionate dog. He delights in giving head hugs and cuddling next to his humans on the couch.
