Hi, I am Whitney! I am a beautiful girl who looks like milk chocolate candy! I am still learning all kinds of new things after being a stray in Alabama and then being in a shelter. I was so sad there. I wasn't sure I would ever leave that scary place. It was so loud & all the dogs were crying. But now that I am a rescue dog with Dolly's, I get to do tons of fun things and I always have a smile! I am quietly learning how to play fetch. I know how to wrestle with foster sister and brother. I can entertain myself for a long time. I don't like my kennel, but I do stay in a different room when foster mom is at work. I am a heat box to sleep with, you will wish for cold weather. And boy do I snore. I am full of happy energy, love walks, meeting other dogs and people. I am unsure how to get into vehicles, but fine when I get into them. I like sitting between the front seats and putting my chin on your shoulder, that way we don't get lost. I am finding new foods that I like, chicken tops the list! Bananas, ice cream are good too. I am not around any cats right now so I don't know how I feel about them. I like kids, I am slow to approach them but then we have fun 
. I am really hoping I can fulfill my wish of having a family that has a house & a big yard for me to romp in. I would be happiest not having to be leashed everytime I go outside, so a fenced yard would be amazing! Can you help me find my happily ever after?
Whitney is a female Terrier/Pit/Chocolate Lab mix who was born approximately 1-23-23 and weighs a petite 32 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/heartworm preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease. She had bilateral cherry eye repair done to correct the cherry eye growths in her eyes and now looks like a new dog. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
