This darlin' low-rider only wants to please and doesn't mind helping around the house. He sticks close by so you're never lonely. Willy enjoys the company of other dogs, but would do fine as an only child. He hasn't been tested with cats but one can assume he would be very curious and would immediately want to be friends. Willy is house trained, and has spent time in a kennel so he would be fine with that during the day. One of Willy's unfortunately quirks is that he's a clepto. Now, he can't help it and would appreciate this news stays quiet, but he can't help himself to dirty clothes in the basket - he likes to pull them out and move them around. Maybe for your attention, maybe to keep you guessing. But he never destroys them, just relocates. Willie is ready to share his charm and find a family of his very own.

Willy appears to be male Drever, a breed similar to a Basset Hound but not as stocky (his breed/mix cannot be guaranteed). He was born approximately 1-24-21 and weighs 53 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. Dolly's Legacy Animal Rescue's mission is to save orphaned and abandoned pets from overcrowded shelters where they are out of time & out of hope to make it out alive. Far too many pets are facing a cruel death at high-intake, high-kill animal control facilities, some still using a gas chamber as a means of euthanasia. We rescue dogs, puppies, cats & kittens, and place them into loving foster homes while they receive all the vet care needed, including spay/neuter, heartworm testing & treatment, vaccinations, microchipping, treatment for parasites, surgical intervention, and hospitalization.
